When I read through texts, identifying indexable concepts for botanical interest, I came to the opinion that the internet is a wild chaos. Were do you we start when we want to surf the botanical part of the internet?

The Past

I did find lists with hundreds of links to websites about plants, but hardly any still worked. The problem with most link lists on websites is that they are static links. This means that if a link to a website changes, you are out of luck.

The Present

Luckily  the internet has changed a lot! Not only do we now have dynamic link lists (this is the opposite of static links), also most of the elderly I know are actually surfing the net like maniacs and that is what I call: Flabbergasted. Anyway, we love plants and botanical gardens, so we want to have easy websites navigating us to the best places.

For this purpose we created a non-profit website that will start evaluating and monitoring botanical websites and tells you the best places to go. We just started so take a look of what is becoming the PlantSearcher.com

The future

The future holds no borders for those with the imagination to wield it! We have just started collecting lists of plants, and it is quite some work evaluating them. We hope many visitors will help out by submitting a link to their favourite plant website or post comments on our selection of websites. With your help we can build the PlantSearcher.com
